The sky was red on the night that the next man would die.

This one was a bastard among bastards, a paragon of thieves and monsters, one of those souls so black that not even the strongest of deeds could redeem it, or wash away even some small measure of the sins he had committed. Fitting then, that one just as stained would come to kill him. She has no regrets in the path that had led her here, other than that she had been foolish enough to let one live in the past... she would not make that mistake another time.

Lightning flashes and rain pours, battering the ground like a thousand needles, setting a persistent drumbeat all around, the beat to some impossibly fast music, the waltz of death that would soon follow, hot upon the heels of the woman in black.

Sturdy boots adorn her feet, a bit tight, but serviceable, laced up snug against her legs some halfway up the lower portion, just below the hem of the long black coat she wears, shrouding and concealing her form from all eyes, save for the pair of blazing hot eyes which gaze out from under the rim of its hood, burning with a fury unmatched by man or beast. This woman was as the avatar of Wrath itself, her very presence redolent with such a killing intent that it can seemingly be felt, like a tight grip on the neck, cutting off the air but slightly.

The home she knew him to be within was a large one, more fittingly known as 'manor' than 'house', and a den of vice, carnal pleasures, and drugs like no other she had yet known of. Above this, the man inside caters to children among other things, and uses them in his pleasure houses just as readily as he does grown women. It was simple enough, wrought-iron gate, brick wall surrounding the grounds, traditional-looking Japanese architecture looming behind. This would look like any other high-end family home, truly.

But she knew it to be otherwise, and the one inside was her target, beyond a doubt. He is already dead, and he simply doesn't know it yet. As she approaches the gates, a pair of guards begin to approach her, as if to stop her from entering, or to attack her. They don't get a chance, each one having one of her blades plunged into their throats before they can breath. The gate would be easy enough, a simple Bringer Light to send her sailing over it, her hands absentmindedly flicking the blood from the tanto as she does so.

The next step would be entering the building, but it seems that he knew that someone was coming, for there were no more than seven guards waiting for her... no matter, she could take seven human opponents easily. They came for her, with guns and blades and other such weapons, ready to kill her. But she was faster, and her intent stronger.

Hands are a blur as they race under her coat, burst of wind blowing it out around her, hood now back. Time seems to slow as the pistols come free of their shoulder holsters, a wave of chocolate-colored hair spilling from the hood as it falls like the tail of some dread demon, whipping about her in a frenzied dance as she turns, spinning like a mad dervish as she lets loose hell on earth, twin AMT AutoMag V handguns roaring out their challenge as their charges strike home, flowers of crimson fluid blooming where they strike the men before her. She finishes her turn, slipping the weapons within her coat again, not time to reload them as the pulls out a pair of fist-loads and charges into the house, already slipping them onto her fingers.

So it went, a dance of blood and violence until she reaches the main room and comes face-to-face with the one she would kill, the moment of truth upon her, for this would surely be a fight, the leader now before her so easily.

Oh yes, he would enjoy this night.

He now lay on his scarlet bed that stood against the far right wall of this bountiful establishment. His quarters were spacious and dimly lit. It was quite busy tonight, the soft moans of the drugged dwarfing any silence that would be. The bed was of red color and made of soft, cozy fur. He was laying on his side, covering the entire piece of furniture. Gen was a human of immense stature, almost 7'2" and 280 lbs. He bore a large, vulgar visage. His modest, white hair cascaded down his large, abrasive right shoulder. He bore a rather extravagant yet hardened belly. His legs were thick, almost like tree trunks. They dangled carelessly over the far end of the bed. Surrounding him in all directions, Gen had a variety of lovely, young females. Too young. Some of light tone, some of dark complexion...and some just outright nose-bleeding gorgeous. Yea, this was the life. In his right hand he clenched a rather lavish, black mug. A delicious, intoxicating brew swished clockwise as he swirled the cup round. He raises his right hand to take a modest gulp of his strong beverage, when his attention is caught by the presence of a newcomer. By the loud sounds of gunfire. He grins. Like music to his ears.

As he turned his giant head to the right, his long white hair disappearing down his back, Gen's gaze is met with an interesting creature. It stood just outside the doorway that led to his quarters. Comically, at least to him, her hands seemed to be dripping with crimson blood. His nostrils flare. Yes, he could smell Death.

Gen grins. His sharp molars glisten under the dim lights. He raises his mug up high and grumbles "Come on in. I think I'll have you instead."

Even from across the room he would see them.

Red eyes like twin flames, like the eyes of the devil himself boring into him, and a monstrous killing intent that needed no words to get across its message: I am going to kill you. The intent grows even greater as she sees those around him, and she reaches down into her coat, casting the fist-loads aside unused. This one would face the flames.

The boken comes free of its shieth easily, soundlessly, and she holds it in front of her, blade not wavering an inch as she tightens her grip, unleashing her burning will into it and calling forth its full power. Her rage takes form, boiling up from it as roaring flames, crackling and surrounding the blade in their ferocious light. Retribution roars to life, shaped and honed by her rage. Her hair reflects this change, blazing to crimson light as it floats behind her, outlining her in a miniature sun.

She charges forward, her mind racing with thought as time seems to slow. This ugly, old, fatass bastard, lying there with his hands on children... I'll kill him. I'll tear him apart, cut him and cut him until all that's left is ash! From there on, her voice joins her mind in a wordless scream of pure rage, her feet pushing against the ground but once.

Bringer Light erupts below her, and her body dissappears. A blur crosses the room between them, until she is just before him, actually standing on the rim of the bed before she spins on her one foot, arm extending in a single fluid motion, blade flashing and blazing in the light as it seeks out its target. Through alabaster hair, hardened skin, bloody flesh, nothing would stop it in its path of destruction should its path be true, and its path was not a kind one. It would pass over his heart, yes, but the force of the blow is aimed at that bulbous mass of a stomach, to cut and tear at that skin and let loose the bowels within, a horrible sight for him to see as he dies, his own entrails weaving a tapestry of death before him.

And the eyes of the devil have only dimmed in a single degree, even should she kill him so horribly... the rage she feels is beyond anything, beyond any blood's ability to quench. She turns to the girls around her, eyes narrowing. “Run.” Only a single word before she strikes again, beginning the thousands of cuts which would be writ upon his form by the time this is over, a torture of immense cruelty and mercilessness. His whole body would be devoured, massive legs, strengthened body and all. By the time she was finished with it, they would never be able to identify this body.
