Personality:

Anne can be quite the complicated person at times. Back in her days living in the Academy she learned to be very independent. She is not the typical kind of Shinigami that sees everything as either good or bad, or black and white. She sees the grey area in everything, and thus operates almost solely on her own moral code.
She likes to handle situations as though the rules could change at any moment.

Perhaps at times she can even displays a little over confidence in her abilities. Despite her cold calculating inner monologueany though, in any dangerous situation she tends to maintain a cool almost carefree attitude, which tends to put people off their guard. When she manages to come across someone who can out wit her though she tends to take it personally. Lets just say she doesnt deal with those situations well. Thats when she tends to go into berserk mode.

When amongst friends she tends to take somewhat of a leadership role, although some times she can be a little insensitive to her teammates. Anne also has a very dry whit about her, and can be a little sarcastic at inappropriate times. She does have many acquaintances but only considers a few people true friends. Despite that, Anne is usually kind to most of her Shinigami brethren, and tries to build confidence in the new recruits. She doesnt have much patients for the ones that dont serve any purpose though, and she most certainly doesnt tolerate incompetence well. Anne has no problem dissociating herself with people that fit that description.

Physical Appearance: Anne isn't the type to wear her emotions on her sleeve, although her eyes usually seem to give away her true feelings. She is a tall slender woman weighing about 135 lbs and stands around 5'9. She has long flowing hair, almost platinum in color that hangs down past her waste. She wears it in one of two fashion; either it is let loose flowing in the wind, or it is tied back in two long french braids. Anne has beautiful dark skin that stands out amongst most the other Shinigami. Anne has stunning curves that are only matched her toned athletic physique. Its obvious she has trained her body to be in peek physical condition. She wears a slightly altered shinigami uniform that fits more to the curves of her body. As far as other apparel , in her right hand a long slender pipe can usually be seen smoldering away. It's made of ivory and has intricate designs carved into the stem.

Bio: As a young child Anne moved far out to the countryside of Soul Society with her father. She never knew her mother had passed away during child birth. So it was just the two of them living together along with their various servants and guards. The portion of the Rukongai where they had settled was hardly under the Gotei 13's watch, which was just the way Anne's father liked it. He was a very ambitious man, and in his former life in Gotei 13 he had dreams of one day becoming a high noble. Although when Anne's mother died he his heart was broken. He felt like his dreams could never be realized, and thats when he left for the countryside. They lived in a very large estate overlooking a small town where her father had all but taken control over. This period of Anne's life was very dull , her father had'nt let her socialize with any of the locals. He said that they were "beneath them". Anne watched from her window day after day as she saw the young children in the village down below.

One afternoon as she was looking outside her window once again, she saw a young boy running along as she had seen many times before. Something was different today though, she felt the strong urge to finally escape the cage she had been kept in, if for only for just a few hours. Anne climbed out her window and scaled down the side of the estate. She made it almost all the way to the bottom before she lost her grip and fell straight into a big puddle of mud. She quickly stood up and slowly looked down at her clothing. Seeing that is was covered in mud, tears started to well up in her eyes. She started to sniffle a little bit while a few tears started rolling down her face, and before long she broke out into a full blown tantrum. Caught up in the mess she had made, Anne hadn't noticed the young boy she had seen from her window approach her. He took her hand and his and said "Hey it's alright you dont have to cry. I make messes like that all the time. Follow me Im sure Grandma can help you get that out. My house isnt far from here, why dont you follow me home. Besides we shouldn't be playing around here anyways.. He grabbed Anne by the hand and started dragging her to his house before she even had a chance to think about it.

As the two arrived back at the boy's house she could see a few children playing tag outside. Anne had a confused look on her face, being that she had never gotten to play with children her own age before; she wasnt entirely sure what they were even doing. The boy dragged her inside and quickly brought her in front of his grandmother. The boy explained to her that he found Anne standing outside the mansion crying, and covered in mud. The grandmother bent down and took a closer look at the young girl. She surely recognized who the girl was, but decided to just let her be for now. Ok we will have to get you in the bath. Ill see what I can do about those clothes She showed Anne to the bath and took her clothes while she was getting cleaned up. Anne sat in the water alone thinking to herself; not quite sure what to do. The guards will notice soon that she wasnt in her room, but how could she go back to that cage.

After getting all the mud and dirt free from her hair she grabbed a towel and emerged from the water. She slid the door of the bath open slightly, and found her clothes neatly folded on the floor below. She shut the door and quickly got dressed, then made her way back out to the kitchen. Anne found the old woman there prepairing some lunch for the kids. "Uhh thank you for cleaning my clothes.". The woman gave her a glance looking the girl over Hmm the rest of the kids are outside. Why dont you go out their and play. She nodded her head and quickly made her way outside. She found all the children kicking a ball around, playing some crude form of soccer. The boy quickly ran over to her Hey come play with us. Ill show you how to play. A smile spread across her face. This was turning out better than she had hoped. Might as well just enjoy it as long as possible. "OK lets go!". It seemed like they were playing there for hours. Before she knew it the sun had started to go down.

The boy had invited Anne for dinner and she graciously accepted. The kids started to head inside while still horsing around. Suddenly Annes attention was quickly drawn away from her new friends by the sound of a horn calling from her house. "Oh no!" That was an Alert from the guards at her estate. It was usually used to let the villagers know there was danger in the area. They must be heading out to look for me, she thought. She looked over to the boy with sadness in her eyes "Im sorry but I have to go. Thank you so much for today. Ill see you as soon as I can, but now I have to go." The girl looked away from her new friend and before he could say anything she ran off back home. As she arrived back on her property, Anne could see the guards starting to mobilize. One of the guards spotted her running up My lady!! What are you doing out here. It is not safe! He grabbed her by the hand and led her inside. Had they not even noticed I was gone? What is going on here. As the guard pulled her inside she saw her father standing looking over what seemed to be a map of the town, and giving out orders to his guards.

Anne stood there confused looking up at father "Father...whats happening?" He looked over to her with a slight glance, then turned his attention back to the map. "Its nothing, just a small squable in the village. Get to your room. I dont want to see you down here for the rest of the night." Anne reluctantly made her way up to her room, even though she knew he wasn't telling the full truth. She looked out the window and watched as the troops began to mobilize. Time seemed to go by slower than usual. Finally the sun began to set, and a calm seemed to fall over the estate. Anne sat on her bed pondering what she should do when she suddenly heard a loud roar come from outside. She rushed to her window and looked down at the town below. She couldnt see anything strange happening except a couple villagers moving around. Then even louder now, another roar came from just beyond the town. This time Anne recognized it "hollows...." she wispered as her eyes widened and her hands began to tremble. She looked out into the trees looking for any signs of danger. She saw the trees beginning to move, as if they had come to life. Thats when she saw the dark figures start to decend upon the town.

Countless screams now filled the air coming from the small village down bellow. The hollows made quick work of the people in the town. Anne could feel the creatures now headed for her home. Anne climbed into her bed and pulled the blanket over her head. The sounds of swords clashing were the only thing that went through her mind. Soon the same screams she heard coming for the town were now coming from the guards down stairs. As Anne began to slide the blanket from atop her head and looked at her door intently. A loud knock came from outside, and then her father burst in the room. He was bleeding badly from his head. Anne let out a slight scream, but quickly covered her mouth. Her father looked at her and put his finger over his mouth. Signalling to be quite "Get under the bed my child. Im so sorry She scrambled to the floor and hid as best she could.

Anne shut her eyes tight and put her hands up to her ears, in an attempt to shut out the sounds of battle. The sounds were getting louder and louder now. It felt like it was just outsde her room now. With the final scream of a guard Anne's door began to slowly creep open. "Hehehe You didnt think you could hide from us did you~? The hollow chuckled. The sounds of her fathers sword clashing with the hollow quickly filled the room. Suddenly the clashing of weapons stopped and Anne opened her eyes just for a second. The only thing she saw was her fathers sword falling to the ground and his body doing the same seconds after. A pool of blood began to spread out along the floor and the hollow let out a roaring laugh. Tears began streaming down Annes face. Suddenly the hollow's laugh was cut short though, and his body fell to the floor, just as her fathers did. A shinigami had appeared only minutes after the bloodshed Its a damn massacre. If only we had gotten here earlier He took in the scene he had just stumbled upon. Suddenly he felt something strange; just the tinest whimper of reaitsu coming from underneath the bed. A sense of dread came over the Shinigami's eyes as he bent down looking under the bed, hoping he wouldnt find what he suspected. His fears were realized when he saw Anne sitting there looking back at him with the same terrified eyes.

After that day Anne would go into the care of the thirteen squads and lived her life as normal as she could. The events of that day would leave her scarred for the rest of her life, but she vowed from then on that she would spend her life avenging those who lost their lives by those hollow's hands.

Zanpakutō
Zanpakutō spirit: Remail is a tall dark creature resembling that off an angel. He stands a little over 7 feet tall, and is clad in black robes. His skin is smooth, feeling like solid stone, its color is an ashy onyx grey. He has large black wings that have a span of about 40 feet from tip to tip. They're covered in a substance similar to tar which is constantly dripping from them. This substance leaves a trail as he walks while it eats away at the ground beneath him. Remail's face has very delicate features, almost feminine. His eyes are dark and piecing, but at the same time very kind, without any malicious intent. He a has somewhat of a condescending attitude and acts almost fatherly to Anne. His voice is low and commanding, and varies from a slight whisper to a loud roar. He is the one person that seems to be able to humble the Shinigami. Remail usually has a very serious demeanor. Whenever he speaks to Anne he seems to try and make her flaws obvious to her in the hopes that she will try and better herself for the future. From time to time though Remail will show his vary rarely seen sense of humor. He will try and make clever puns, and crack a joke or two, but they are usually too dry to actually be funny since humor is an unfamiliar subject to him.

Inner world: Annes inner world is a very small white planet in orbit around a sun that gives of a brigth intense light. This planet is only about an eighth the size of earths moon. It is comprized completely of a marble like stone. Strange rock formations and cannons cover the surface of this planet. This geography was formed by no natural means like water or wind, but actually by the substance constantly dripping form the wings of Remail. He has simply existed here so long that its carved all these strange features into the planet.

Shikai

Shikai name: Remail
Sealed form: Regular katana form, but the guard is completely black.

Shikai: Anne holds out her Zanpakuto horizontal to the ground. Its surface starts to bubble and quickly begins to boil with a black sticky substance. This substance spreads over the entire sword and up Annes arm, all the way to her shoulder. As the bubbling begins to subside dark feathers begin to protrude from the black tar on her arm. The blade grows about another foot in length, and has now changed from a katana too a large rapier.

The substance that now coats Anne's weapon and arm is her signiture acid. This acid is not like any normal substance found on earth. It is extremely sticky, and although not impossible to wipe off it is very difficult. Characters with a Reiryoku stat more than one level higher can most likely free themselves of it with a blast of energy. It has the ability to simply rip away matter from anything it touches; which it then uses to produce more of itself, almost like a virus does with cells. No matter whether it is reishi or matter from the human world, the efffect still stays the same.

Example of effect- A shinigami's arm is completely covered in the Acid. The first post that the arm is covered, nothing much happens accept the horrible pain that goes along with being covered in acid. In the second post the acid begins to deteriorate the skin covering the arm. In the 3rd post this average shinigami's skin is almost gone and the tips of his fingers are eaten away. After 4 posts his arm is noticeably smaller and his fingers have turned into nubs. After 5 post this shinigami no longer has his hand. Skipping to 8 posts, he no longer has an arm.

Bankai name: Apollyon

Bankai description: The black substance covering Anne's arm begins to spray over her body. It covers her from head to toe, and hardens into black stone. The boulder anne is encased in has the appearance of black glass. It's so smooth that others can see their reflection in its brilliance. As the bankai comes to completion the boulder begins to crack, letting out rays of brilliant white energy. As this energy begins to swell inside, the black stone shatters revealing Annes new form. Two large black wings cover her body and unfurl spreading 40 feet from tip to tip. The black substance that she uses for her attacks are now unlimited as it drips from her dark wings. Her sword has also changed form as well. Its now in the form of a jagged black lance. It has multiple spikes, and emits bright energy from beneath its tips.

The second ability seems alright. It's just the first one that is like Zer's. I know it is my character but... I had it first.

Smoke is alright... like... there are thousands of wind abilities out there... but at least cross out the first ability and have a different one?

Ability #1: Acid which can eat away or turn into stone.
Weakness: When acid special ability users can ruin it. You should just mention again there that when it is stone... it is stone. Ability of the opponent does not matter that much then [of course it is perfectly alright that it still can corrosive]

Right I have an over all issues with the shikai, what're the limitations when it comes to the other stats? Will people with higher spiritual energy be able to blast this stuff off like Kenpachi, etc? You need to add more details for that please. I only want this because acid control can turn messy.

Bankai
Burning Haze: Does this effect Anne also? If not then you need more limitations, fifty feet is still pretty big of an area and for how quick it eats away at the person there should be more draw backs, please.

Lunar Darkness: Thousands is an over kill, even 50-100 would be plenty considering it can hone people. 300 feet might be a bit over kill too since all characters unless snipers would need to be at least that close. 100 feet around her is a better length imo.

Rain of needles: Needs real limits, hard to control can be any tech honestly. Just add in stat details or something. ^^

Shikai- added some more detail, along with an example of how it works.

Burning haze- shortened the range, and made the lung effects take longer. I dont see a battle going too much longer than 5 rounds. Plus its easily avoidable.

Lunar darkness- changed from thousands to hundreds. Just want to make sure u know their not all attacking at the same time. They all attack individually when someone is withtin 20 or so feet. Also they are small spheres like the size of baseballs.

Rain of needles- acurate only to 60 feet, and her wings make it obvious. Also fire is stong against it I guese? Im not too sure about weaknesses for that, cuz its just a bunch of stakes flying at you
